Overall it was a good hotel! One of the best x its price range.

The location and the breakfast!

Our room (family) was very not spacious and the bathroom needs renovation. The bed sheets and pillows had an intense Unpleasant smell. ( both times we stayed in the hotel)

Great Hotel

I really liked the location of the hotel and how it was close to everything which was very convenient especially all the Northern Light Tour pick-ups. As a person on a gluten free diet I really enjoyed the gluten free breakfast in the mornings and I am so glad there were many options. The free tea and coffee during the day was also a bonus. Thank you all very much for a great experience.

A comfortable and convenient hotel centrally located in Tromsø, with great breakfast!

The breakfast buffet was a very good and delicious spread, the room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. There's a storage room for luggages for those who arrive before check-in hour.

I love the location and the services at this hotel

Almost everything! The staff were very helpful and friendly, very good offering of daily breakfast buffet and above all, the central location of the hotel. I will.definitely stay at this hotel again for my next trip to Tromso.

The beds are way too soft as it gave me lower back ache after sleeping on it for 5 nights. Please do look into changing more firm bed frames for your customers.

The staff was so friendly. Oscar, in particular, was incredibly helpful with recommendations. The room was very nice and everything was a short, easy walk.

Great breakfast, NO PARKING

Great big breakfastbuffet with sweet and savoury things, both meat and vegetarian stuff, different coffees, everything you would want. The bed was big and comfortable, good blankets, pillows, sheet and towels. Clean room with good air.

THERE WAS NO PARKING. That was our biggest criteria when choosing hotel and we had to drive to a parking hall, pay a lot and walk from there and carry our stuff. Not good, that was a big disapointment and they should NOT say there is parking. The bathroom was not good, took a long time for warm water, a part of the shower door was missing and the water got all over the bathroom floor. The sink was too small to easily fill a waterbottle, and the water tasted bad. No shelves or hooks for you stuff in the bathroom. We could hear all sounds through the window, people, music and traffic. Had to use earplugs. No fridge. The breakfastroom was tight with a lot of people and a lot of noice, not relaxing or peaceful tho eat there.

Comfortable stay - magnificent breakfast

The best breakfast I have ever had. Initially thought room rate not value for money, but this was before we had the included breakfast. It was magnificent.

Picked hotel because close to port to get on ship, but turned out cruise ships no longer leave from here, which was not clear. Very noisy overnight as pop concert on in town, and very busy. Honestly hotel fine, struggle to find something I did not like.

location is smack in the middle of town. Easy to walk to anywhere.

Great location! The hotel is general is nice but the price to quality factor was a mismatch.

The location of the property is super nice. It’s in the middle of everything and was super convenient! We also got a nice view of the Fjords from our room. The staff was also really friendly.

The property was over priced for the room we stayed in. Maybe it was season time, hence the high rates. But the room was super old and very dark. The bed and bedding was also nominal. The bathroom could have been much more cleaner. Over all it was a good hotel but for the amount we paid it was not value for money.

The room was quite spacious! The shower was, too. Quality of the room and breakfast is more than adequate for Scandic's standards.

If you're travelling by car, I cannot really recommend going here since parking in central Tromsø is terrible.

Great hotel for families with an amazing breakfast buffet

Lovely new, clean room suitable for our family of four. Beds were so comfortable and the showers were hot with great pressure. Staff were super friendly and helpful and the breakfast was amazing, one of the best I’ve had at any hotel. Breakfast runs late too, to accommodate guests who have been out late seeking the northern lights. We had an early flight out and there was a mini buffet with items that you could eat in the foyer or take to-go, which was greatly appreciated.

The room was quite warm and you couldn’t seem to adjust the temperature but you could open the window to let fresh air in so it was ok. Very hot when you woke in the morning though.
